covered. ("we", "us", or "our") helps you share prayer requests and pray
together with people you invite. This Privacy Policy explains what information
we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using covered., you
agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Account information. When you sign in with Apple or Google,
we receive your name and email address. If you create an account with an email
and password, we store your email and a securely hashed password.
- Profile information. Details you choose to add, such as a
profile photo, church or community name, birthday, and phone number.
- Content you create. Prayer requests, notes, updates, photos
you attach, and the prayer circles you create or join.
- Usage & device information. Basic app activity (for example,
when you mark that you prayed) and, if you enable notifications, a push
notification token so we can deliver reminders and updates.
- Analytics. We collect anonymized usage analytics (such as which
screens are used and general app events) through our analytics provider (Mixpanel)
to understand how the app is used and improve it. We do not include the text of your
prayers or notes in analytics data.
- Approximate location. If you use the "time of day" appearance
theme, the app uses your device location on your device to calculate local
sunrise and sunset times. This location is not sent to or stored on our servers.
- Subscription information. If you purchase covered. Pro, your
purchase is processed by Apple and managed through our payments provider
(RevenueCat). We receive your subscription status but never your credit card
or payment details.
How we use your information
- To provide the app: create your account, show your prayer requests to the
circles you share them with, and deliver notifications you opt into.
- To operate and secure the service, prevent abuse, and enforce our Terms.
- To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
- To manage subscriptions and process purchases.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your prayer
content for advertising.
How your information is shared
- With people you choose. Prayer requests and profile details
are visible to the members of the circles you share them with. Requests you mark
as anonymous hide your identity from other members. You control whether other
users can find your profile by search with the discoverable
setting in your profile.
- Service providers. We use trusted providers to run the app,
including Apple and Google (sign-in), RevenueCat (subscription management),
Resend (transactional email), Mixpanel (usage analytics), and our hosting/storage
provider. They may process data only to provide services to us.
- Legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law
or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the service.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can permanently
delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account inside
the app. Deleting your account removes your profile, prayer requests, notes, photos,
and associated data from our systems. You may also email us at
contact@bilskiapps.com to request deletion.
Security
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), to
protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure,
so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's privacy
covered. is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in
your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under
that age. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will
delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under U.S. state privacy laws such as the
California Consumer Privacy Act), you may have the right to access, correct, export,
or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing.
You can exercise many of these directly in the app, or by contacting us at
contact@bilskiapps.com. We do not sell or share your
personal information as those terms are defined under applicable state privacy laws.
Where we operate
covered. is currently offered in the United States, and your information is
processed and stored on servers located in the United States. If we make the app
available in other regions in the future, we will update this policy with any
additional disclosures required for those regions.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated"
date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
