These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Bilski Apps LLC ("we", "us", or "our"), the operator of the covered. app and services. By downloading or using covered. — on iOS, Android, or the web — you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account or use covered.. During setup, the app asks for your birthday and does not allow someone who indicates that they are under 13 to complete onboarding. You must provide your correct birthday and must not attempt to bypass this restriction. If you are under 18, review these Terms with a parent or legal guardian before using the app.
You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
Any current circle member may search for discoverable users or, with device permission, use contact matching to suggest someone for that circle. Contact matching is not limited to circle admins. A suggestion made by a regular member must be approved by the circle admin before it is delivered to the proposed recipient. A circle admin's invitation is approved immediately. No invitation makes someone a member automatically: the recipient must always accept before joining the circle.
You agree to use invitation and contact-discovery features only for legitimate circle participation and not for harassment, unwanted solicitation, scraping, or attempts to identify people who have chosen not to be discoverable. Blocking and discoverability settings may prevent a person from appearing or being invited.
These SMS terms apply to the covered. phone verification program operated by Bilski Apps LLC.
Program description. covered. sends one-time phone verification codes (one-time passcodes) by text message to people who choose to add a phone number to their covered. account. The code confirms that the number belongs to you, so that friends who already have your number saved in their contacts can find you when they build a prayer circle. This is a verification-only program. We do not send marketing, promotional, or recurring text messages, and we do not send informational alerts or newsletters by text.
How you opt in. Adding a phone number is optional. On the "Add your phone number" step during onboarding, and in Profile → Edit profile, the screen tells you that by entering your number and tapping to send a code you agree to receive a one-time verification code by text message from covered., and it links to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. You opt in by entering your own mobile number there and tapping the button to send the code. Consent is collected nowhere else, and we never buy, sell, rent, or obtain phone numbers or messaging consent from any third party. You represent that any phone number you enter is your own and that you are authorized to receive messages at it.
Consent is not a condition of purchase or use. You do not have to provide a phone number or agree to receive text messages to create an account, use covered., search your contacts, or buy a subscription. Adding and verifying your number only allows friends who already have that number in their contacts to find your discoverable profile.
Message frequency. One message per verification request — in practice one message, plus one more if you request a new code. Messages are sent only in response to a request you make.
Cost. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your carrier and mobile plan. Bilski Apps LLC does not charge you for text messages.
Opt out. Reply STOP to any text message from us to stop receiving text messages at that number. No further verification texts will be sent to that number. You can also remove your phone number at any time in Profile → Edit profile, which stops verification texts and prevents other users from finding your profile by matching that number.
Help. Reply HELP to any text message from us, or email contact@bilskiapps.com, for help with this program. Our Support page also answers common questions.
Delivery. Message delivery depends on your mobile carrier's network. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Availability. This program is offered to mobile numbers in the United States.
Privacy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party. Your phone number is disclosed only to the SMS provider (Twilio) that delivers your verification code on our behalf. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
We do not permit objectionable content or abusive behavior. You agree not to post or share content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, threatening, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable, and not to harass, bully, impersonate, or abuse other users. You agree not to misuse the service, attempt to access it in unauthorized ways, use another person's information without permission, or interfere with its operation. We use automated screening for certain clearly prohibited terms, but no screening system identifies every violation. Users should report content or behavior that violates these standards.
You retain ownership of the prayer requests, testimonies, journal entries, notes, and photos you create ("User Content"). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, reproduce, and display User Content only as needed to operate, secure, maintain, and support the app. Shared content is displayed to the circles you choose, subject to features such as anonymous posting. Journal entries remain private to your account and are not displayed to a circle. This license ends when the content or your account is deleted, except to the limited extent information is retained as described in our Privacy Policy or required by law.
To keep the community safe, covered. provides tools to report objectionable content and to block abusive users. We review reports and may remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, or terminate accounts when we determine that these Terms have been violated. The action we take may depend on the content, context, severity, history, and safety risk.
Your use of covered. is also subject to the terms of the store you downloaded it from, including Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions or the Google Play Terms of Service. If you downloaded covered. from the Apple App Store, Apple is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the app or its content, but Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
covered. provides spiritual encouragement and community. It is not a substitute for professional, medical, mental-health, legal, or financial advice or for pastoral counseling. If you are in crisis or may harm yourself or others, contact your local emergency services immediately.
covered. is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bilski Apps LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of the app.
You may stop using covered. and delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.
covered. is currently offered in the United States. We may make it available in additional regions in the future.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota and the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where consumer-protection laws grant you additional rights. Any dispute that is not resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Minnesota.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
